The IGF-I protein is structurally similar to insulin and has excellent growth-promoting activity. As a potential physiological regulator, it affects [1-14C]-2-deoxy-D-glucose (2DG) transport and glycogen synthesis in osteoblasts. Animal-Free IGF-I Protein, Pig (His) is the recombinant pig-derived animal-FreeIGF-I protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-His labeled tag.
