PDK4 protein is a key kinase that regulates glucose and fatty acid metabolism by phosphorylating pyruvate dehydrogenase subunits PDHA1 and PDHA2. This inhibits pyruvate dehydrogenase activity, modulates metabolite flux and inhibits aerobic respiration. PDK4 Protein, Mouse (sf9, His-GST) is the recombinant mouse-derived PDK4 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with N-His, N-GST labeled tag. The total length of PDK4 Protein, Mouse (sf9, His-GST) is 412 a.a., with molecular weight of ~65 kDa.
