TRADD protein acts as an adapter for TNFRSF1A/TNFR1, mediating its interaction with FADD. TRADD induces TNF-induced responses: apoptosis and NF-kappa-B activation. The nuclear form of TRADD functions as a tumor suppressor by preventing ubiquitination and degradation of isoform p19ARF/ARF of CDKN2A. Stimulation of TNFRSF1A forms plasma membrane-bound complex I, promoting cell survival. Subsequently, TRADD dissociates to form cytoplasmic complex II, inducing apoptosis. TRADD interacts with various proteins in these complexes, emphasizing its multifaceted role in cellular processes. TRADD Protein, Human (GST) is the recombinant human-derived TRADD protein, expressed by E. coli, with N-GST labeled tag. The total length of TRADD Protein, Human (GST) is 312 a.a., with molecular weight of 61.2 kDa.
