D-galactosyl-β1-3-N-acetyl-D-hexosamine phosphorylase (BiGalHexNAcP) catalyses the phosphorolysis of lacto-n-biose and galacto-n-biose, to produce Gal-1-P and the corresponding N-acetyl-D-hexosamine[1].
