(R)-Neotame-d₃  (Synonyms: 纽甜 d₃)

(R)-Neotame-d₃ is the deuterium labeled Neotame. Neotame is a derivative of Aspartame and is a low-caloric and high-intensity artificial sweetener that is 7000-13,000 times sweeter than sugar. Neotame is a non-nutritive sweetener and flavor enhancer that can be used in a variety of foods[1][2].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
