Angiopoietin-like protein 6  (血管生成素样蛋白 6)

血管生成素样蛋白 (ANGPTLs) 是一类与血管生成素结构相似的蛋白家族。目前已经发现了8个 ANGPTLs,即 ANGPTL1 到 ANGPTL8。ANGPTLs 不与血管生成素靶向的受体 Tie-1/2结合,通常被认为是孤儿配体。与血管生成素相似,ANGPTLs 能够有效地调节血管生成。大多数ANGPTLs 表现出多生物学特性,包括在脂质和糖代谢、炎症、造血和癌症中确立的功能作用。例如,ANGPTL 2、3、4、6和7是促炎因子,调节肿瘤进展,而ANGPTL1抑制肿瘤血管生成和转移。

Angiopoietin-like proteins (ANGPTLs) are identified as a family of proteins structurally similar to the angiopoietins. Eight ANGPTLs have been discovered, namely ANGPTL1 to ANGPTL8. ANGPTLs do not bind to the receptors classically targeted by angiopoietins, Tie-1/2, and have been generally considered orphan ligands. Similar to angiopoietins, ANGPTLs are able to potently regulate angiogenesis.
Most of the ANGPTLs exhibit multibiological properties, including established functional roles in lipid and glucose metabolism, inflammation, hematopoiesis, and cancer. For example, ANGPTL 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 are pro-inflammatory factors and regulate cancer progression, while ANGPTL1 inhibits tumor angiogenesis and metastasis.
