RNA MTase (RNA 甲基转移酶)

RNA Methyltransferase; METTL

RNA 甲基转移酶催化 RNA 甲基化修饰,包括 mRNA 的 N6-甲基腺苷(m6A)修饰、RNA 的 5-甲基胞嘧啶(m5C)修饰、RNA 的 N1-甲基腺苷(m1A)修饰、RNA 的假尿苷修饰、RNA 的 N7-甲基鸟苷(m7G)修饰、RNA 的 2'-O-甲基尿苷(Um)修饰等,调控基因表达,影响免疫检查点蛋白的表达,参与细胞的增殖和分化。 RNA 甲基转移酶可分为两类:m6A 甲基转移酶,如 METTL3/14、WTAP、VIRMA/KIAA1429,以及其他甲基转移酶,如 NSun2、PCIF1、METTL16 等。RNA 甲基转移酶功能障碍可能导致肿瘤发展、药物耐药性、免疫逃逸或其他代谢和神经系统疾病[1][2]

RNA Methyltransferase catalyzes the RNA methylation modifications, including N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification of mRNA, 5-methylcytosine (m5C) modification of RNA, N1-methyladenosine (m1A) modification of RNA, pseudouridine modification of RNA, N7-methylguanosine (m7G) modification of RNA, and 2'-O-methyluridine (Um) modification of RNA. RNA Methyltransferase regulates the gene expression, affects the expression of immune checkpoint proteins, and participates in the cell proliferation and differentiation. RNA Methyltransferasecan be divided into two groups: m6A methyltransferases such as METTL3/14, WTAP, VIRMA/KIAA1429, and the other methyltransferases such as NSun2, PCIF1, METTL16, etc. RNA Methyltransferasedysfunction could lead to tumor development, drug resistance, immune escape, or other metabolic and neurological diseases[1][2].
