Maropitant-¹³C,d₃  (Synonyms: 马罗皮坦-¹³C)

Maropitant-¹³C,d₃ is the ¹³C- and deuterium labeled Maropitant. Maropitant is a selective and orally active neurokinin (NK1) receptor antagonist. Maropitant acts by blocking the binding of substance P within the emetic center and the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CRTZ). Maropitant is highly effective in preventing vomiting[1][2].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[92].
