It inhibits S.enteritidis translocation, safeguarding against infection. Beyond antibacterial action, REG-3 beta functions hormonally, activating EXTL3 receptor for cell-specific signaling. In the pancreas, it notably stimulates cell proliferation. REG-3 beta/REG3B Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived REG-3 beta/REG3B protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His labeled tag.
