TSC22D1 protein, possessing RNA polymerase II binding activity, regulates apoptotic and cell proliferation processes. It is found in the cytoplasm and nucleus and expressed in multiple structures like the alimentary system and central nervous system. With ubiquitous expression observed, TSC22D1 likely regulates diverse cellular processes across tissues.
