Pyrithioxin  (Synonyms: 吡硫醇; Pyritinol; Pyridoxine disulfide; Vitamin B6 disulfide)

Pyrithioxin (Pyritinol) is an orally active neurodynamic compound. Pyrithioxin can promote the metabolism of glucose and amino acids, increase carotid blood flow and improve cerebral blood flow. Pyrithioxin exhibits anti-inflammation, anti-tumor and neuroprotective effect. Pyrithioxin can be used for the researches of cancer, inflammation, immunology, metabolic and neurological disease such as cerebral infarct, epilepsy, fibrosarcomas and rheumatoid polyarthritis^{[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]}.

Pyrithioxin (dihydrochloride) (0.5-3 μg/mL) 通过调节葡萄糖-6-磷酸脱氢酶提高近平滑假丝酵母 (Candida parapsilosis) 的 D-阿拉伯糖醇产量^[5]。
