The ENTPD5 protein is located in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum and plays a crucial role in glycoprotein processing by preferentially hydrolyzing nucleoside diphosphates, including GDP, IDP, and UDP. Its enzymatic activity ensures the clearance of UDP, an end-product feedback inhibitor of UDP-Glc:glycoprotein glucosyltransferase. ENTPD5 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived ENTPD5 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.
