Tight Junction Protein ZO 3 (TJP3) 是一种与 TJP1 和 TJP2 密切相关的支架蛋白，负责将紧密连接 (TJ) 跨膜蛋白（如 claudins、junctional adhesion molecules 和 occludin）连接到肌动蛋白细胞骨架。紧密连接的作用是限制物质通过细胞旁间隙的移动，并作为上皮细胞和内皮细胞顶端和基底外侧质膜域之间的边界。TJP3 能够结合并招募 PATJ 到紧密连接处，从而连接和稳定紧密连接的顶端和侧向组分。此外，TJP3 通过在有丝分裂期间将 cyclin D1 (CCND1) 隔离在紧密连接处，促进细胞周期进程，防止 CCND1 在 M 期降解并促进 S 期过渡。与 TJP1 和 TJP2 类似，TJP3 参与转录因子 DBPA 的连接保留和稳定性，但不参与其向细胞核的转运。与 TJP2 不同，TJP3 在个体存活、胚胎发育、上皮分化和紧密连接建立中并非必需，至少在实验室环境中如此。

  Western blot analysis of extracts from Caco-2 (lane 2(20μg)) using Zonula occludens protein 3 Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (beta Actin, HY-P83730, 1/5000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit/Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
