生物活性

Razoxane (ICRF 159), a EDTA (HY-Y0682) derivative, is an orally active antiangiogenic topoisomerase II inhibitor. Razoxane has antineoplastic, antiangiogenic, and antimetastatic activities. Razoxanecan be used for the research of renal cell carcinoma (RCC), lung cancer and melanoma cancer[1][2].

(In Vivo)

Razoxane (30 mg/kg，腹腔注射) 在大鼠骨肉瘤模型中表现出抗转移作用[2]。
早期使用雷唑烷治疗 (30 mg/kg，腹腔注射，从移植后第 -2 天至第 +14 天) 比后期治疗 (30 mg/kg，腹腔注射，从移植后第 +14 天至第 +28 天) 对肺转移的抑制作用更强[2]。

Animal Model: Sprague-Dawley rats[2]
Dosage: 30 mg/kg or 10 mg/kg per day
Administration: Intraperitoneally (i.p.) from 2 days before to 14 days after tumor transplantation
Result: Resulted in a dose-dependent prolongation of median survival time (83 or 48 days respectively, versus 38 days for the control group), but showed no influence on the growth of the primary tumor.
