11-Oxo etiocholanolone-d₅  (Synonyms: 11-Ketoetiocholanolone-d₅)

11-Oxo etiocholanolone-d₅ is the deuterium labeled 11-Oxo etiocholanolone. 11-Oxo etiocholanolone (11-Ketoetiocholanolone) is a metabolite of Etiocholanolone. Etiocholanolone is the excreted metabolite of testosterone and has anticonvulsant activity[1][2][3].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
