Human serum albumin (HSA) is the most abundant protein in plasma and is a major determinant of plasma oncotic pressure. Human serum albumin exhibits antioxidant, anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, anti-platelet aggregation activities as well as colloid osmotic action. Human serum albumin can block the inhibitory effect of GML on human T cells, providing protective function for T cells. Human serum albumin is also associated with cardiovascular diseases and can partially prevent the LPS (HY-D1056) induced oxidative stress, as well as the upregulation of NF-κB, NF-κB, and peroxynitrite (ONOO−) in the vascular wall, contributing to the reduction of blood pressure[1][2][3].

(In Vitro)

Human serum albumin (5 μM, 0-90 分钟) 能与 Glycerol monolaurate (GML) 结合，Kd 值为 1.4 μM。HSA 可以阻止 GML 抑制人类 T 细胞的能力，实现对 T 细胞功能的保护[3]。
Human serum albumin (0.01, 0.05, 0.1μM, 0-24 小时) 能缓解 GML 诱导的 AKT 在苏氨酸 308 和丝氨酸 473 位点的磷酸化以及 LAT、PLC-γ1 和 AKT 微集团形成，并在 GML 处理的细胞中恢复 IFN-γ、IL-2、IL-10 和 TNF-α 的产生[3]。

Human serum albumin (10 ml/kg; 静脉注射; 1 小时和 5 小时各1次; 2 次) 在 Male Swiss 小鼠模型中部分阻止了 LPS (HY-D1056) (50 mg/kg) 诱导的氧化应激以及血管壁中 NF-κB、iNOS 和 过氧亚硝酸根 (ONOO−) 上调的血压降低[4]。
Human serum albumin (10 ml/kg; 静脉注射; 1 小时和 5 小时, 2 次) 在 Male Swiss 小鼠模型中能完全防止了由内毒素诱导的对酚儿茶酚胺的血管反应减弱、肌电张力以及内皮功能障碍，并且减少导致氧化和亚硝态应激以及血管反应性减弱的炎症过程[4]。

Dosage: 10 ml/kg; Once at 1 hour and once at 5 hours; twice
Administration: HSA: Intravenous injection; LPS: Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.), 50 mg/kg
Result: Prevented LPS-induced tissue NO overproduction and increased iNOS expression.
Was effective in reducing LPS-induced oxidative stress.
Alleviated this LPS-induced oxidative stress and inhibited the formation of peroxynitrite (ONOO−).
Reduced LPS-induced upregulation of NF-κB.
