AQP2 Protein, a water-specific channel, imparts high water permeability to renal collecting duct plasma membranes, facilitating water movement along osmotic gradients. Crucial for renal water homeostasis, AQP2 significantly regulates water reabsorption in the kidneys. Existing as a homotetramer, it is a key component in selectively transporting water through renal tissues. AQP2 Protein, Rat (Cell-Free, His) is the recombinant rat-derived AQP2 protein, expressed by E. coli Cell-free , with N-10*His labeled tag.
