The HK1/hexokinase-1 protein phosphorylates hexose sugars, including D-glucose, D-glucosamine, D-fructose, D-mannose, and 2-deoxy-D-glucose, to form the corresponding hexose 6-phosphate. HK1/Hexokinase-1 Protein, Human (463a.a, His) is the recombinant human-derived HK1/Hexokinase-1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.
