TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白, Rat/Mouse (HEK293)

TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein is initially identified as a growth factor that induces the growth of rodent fibroblasts. TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein inhibits the cell cycle in the G1 phase. TGF beta 1/TGFB1 is an endogenous factor controlling apoptosis in normal and pathological tissues. TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293) is a recombinant protein (A279-S390) produced by HEK293 cells^[1][2].

TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白（转化生长因子 beta 1）是一种多功能细胞因子，几乎由所有细胞合成。TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白具有很强的与 TGFbRII^[3] 结合的能力。

TGFB1 (1-1 ng/ml, 6 min) induces phosphorylation of SMAD2 and SMAD3 in CLENDO cells^[5].
TGFB1 (1 ng/mL) significantly reduced both basal and fetal-calf-serum-stimulated DNA synthesis, without reducing cell viability^[5].
TGFB1 (1 ng/mL) decreases CLENDO cell migration and causes loss of VE-cadherin from cellular junctions^[5].

TGF-β1 (1 ng/ μL, 2 μL, i.c.v.) significantly blocks the antidepressant effects of (R)-ketamine in CSDS susceptible mice^[6].

1. Measured by its ability to inhibit IL-4-dependent proliferation of TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells and the ED₅₀ is 5-25 pg/mL.
2. Measured by its ability to inhibit cell proliferation of Mv-1-lu mink lung epithelial cells. The ED₅₀ for this effect is <0.8 ng/mL.

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH₂O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

Stored at -20°C for 2 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
