Vilanterol-d₄ trifenatate  (Synonyms: GW642444-d₄ trifenatate)

Vilanterol-d₄ (trifenatate) is deuterium labeled Vilanterol (trifenatate). Vilanterol trifenatate (GW642444 trifenatate) is a long-acting β2-adrenoceptor (β2-AR) agonist with inherent 24-hour activity. The pEC50s for β2-AR, β1-AR and β3-AR are 10.37, 6.98 and 7.36, respectively.

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
