Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) is an enzyme that is mainly aggregated in the cytosol of the hepatocyte. ALT catalyzes the transfer of amino groups from L-alanine to α-ketoglutarate, and the converted products are L-glutamate and pyruvate in the liver, which is a critical process of Citric acid cycle (CAC).

丙氨酸氨基转移酶 (ALT) 是一种主要聚集在肝细胞胞质溶胶中的酶。丙氨酸氨基转移酶催化氨基从 L-丙氨酸转移到 α-酮戊二酸，转化产物为肝脏中的 L-谷氨酸和丙酮酸，是柠檬酸循环 (Citric acid cycle (CAC)) 的重要过程。
