Hydrolases (EC 3)  (水解酶)

Enzymes can be classified systematically according to the difference between reaction and substrate specificity, and the mechanism of action. Hydrolases (EC 3.x.x.x) are enzymes that catalyze the cleavage of a covalent bond using water, which divide a large molecule into two smaller ones. These enzymes catalyse the hydrolytic cleavage of C-O, C-N, C-C and some other bonds, including phosphoric anhydride bonds. Some common examples of hydrolase enzymes include lipases, proteases, epoxide hydrolases, nitrile hydrolases, and glycosidases.
