Interferon & Receptors  (干扰素)

干扰素是宿主细胞受病毒或微生物感染产生应答时分泌的一类抗病毒细胞因子。干扰素具有抗病毒、抗肿瘤、免疫调节活性。根据其氨基酸序列和受体特异性,通常将干扰素分为三型:I 型(IFN-α, β, ε, κ, ω, δ, τ, ζ),II 型 (IFN-γ),III 型 (IFN-λ1, λ2, λ3,λ4)。干扰素通过结合细胞膜上不同的异二聚体受体复合物来激活 IFN 信号通路。

Interferons (IFNs) are a family of antiviral cytokines that are secreted by host cells in response to viral and microbial infections. The functions of IFNs are represented by three major biological activities: antiviral activity, antitumor activity and immunoregulatory activity. Based on their receptor specificity and sequence homology, the mammalian interferons are divided into three types based on amino acid sequence homology and the receptors they use: type I IFN (IFN-α, β, ε, κ, ω, δ, τ, ζ), type II IFN (IFN-γ), and type III IFN (IFN-λ1, λ2, λ3, λ4). IFN signaling is initiated by binding to distinct heterodimeric receptor complexes on the cell membrane.
