Complement Regulatory Proteins  (补体调节蛋白)

Complement regulate proteins (Complement control proteins) are proteins that interact with components of the complement system. Complement activation leads to the induction of a number of potent immunological processes. It is not surprising that there are several mechanisms to prevent its uncontrolled activation. There are a series of complement control proteins expressed by the host to prevent the potentially damaging consequences. They regulate the complement cascade at different points. For example, C1 inhibitor (C1-INH) inactivates C1r and C1s, MASP-1, and MASP-2; MCP is the cofactor for factor I–mediated cleavage of C3b and C4b. (Targeting Complement System)
