Endothelial cell CD Proteins  (内皮细胞 CD 蛋白)

The cluster of differentiation (CD) antigens is a protocol used for the identification and investigation of cell surface molecules present on leukocytes. Some CD proteins often act as cell-cell or cell-matrix adhesion molecules, cytokine receptors, ion pores, or nutrient transporters. CD proteins play a variety of roles in immune system function. Endothelial cells form the linings of the blood vessels and regulates exchanges between the bloodstream and the surrounding tissues. Endothelial cells are generally identified through the presence of specific surface biomarkers, particularly CD31 and CD34. Additionally, CD146 is expressed on endothelial cells that is involved in the organization of cohesive contacts between adjacent cells.
