Thymidylate synthase (TS)胸苷酸合酶

Thymidylate synthase (TS) is a key enzyme in the de novo synthesis of 2V-deoxythymidine-5V-monophosphate (dTMP). TS catalyzes the methylation of 2V-deoxyuridine5V-monophosphate (dUMP) to dTMP for which 5,10-methylene-tetrahydrofolate (CH2-THF) is the methyl donor. TS is an important target for chemotherapy.
