突触囊泡蛋白是突触囊泡的重要组成部分,在神经递质的储存和运输、囊泡融合与释放以及囊泡的回收再利用中起着重要作用。突触囊泡蛋白包括突触素、突触结合蛋白、囊泡相关膜蛋白(VAMP)、突触小泡蛋白、囊泡递质转运蛋白等,可分为参与神经递质摄取的转运蛋白和参与突触囊泡胞吞和循环利用的运输蛋白两大类。突触囊泡蛋白可能导致阿尔茨海默病、癫痫、抑郁症等神经系统疾病。

Synaptic vesicle protein is the important component of synaptic vesicle, that plays a role in the storage and transportation of neurotransmitters, vesicle fusion and release, as well as vesicle recycling/reusing. Synaptic vesicle protein includes synaptophysin, synaptotagmin, vesicle associated membrane protein (VAMP), synaptogyrin, vesicular neurotransmitter transporters, which could be divided into two classes: transport proteins involved in neurotransmitter uptake and trafficking proteins that participate in synaptic vesicle exo- and endocytosis and recycling. Synaptic vesicle protein cause the neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, depression[1][2].
