Acts upstream of or within positive regulation of integrin-mediated signaling pathway. Located in Golgi apparatus; apical plasma membrane; and cell surface. Colocalizes with cytoplasmic vesicle; membrane raft; and plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; medulla oblongata lateral wall; naris epithelium; respiratory system; and ventricular layer. Used to study placental insufficiency.
