ABAT, Human (His-SUMO) is a γ-Aminobutyric acid transaminase which is responsible for GABA metabolism. ABAT, Human is implicated in mitochondrial nucleoside metabolism, respiratory capacity, membrane potential, and mitochondrial DNA maintenance.
