GARP is a transmembrane protein that acts as a docking receptor for potential transforming growth factor (LTGF-β) and plays a key role in the production and release of active transforming growth factor β (TGF-β). The presence of GARP affects immune-mediated diseases such as cancer, allergies, and autoimmunity.
