The HJURP protein is a centromeric factor that plays a critical role in centromeric integration and maintenance of CENPA. As a chaperone, it ensures the integration of newly synthesized CENPA into nucleosomes at replicating centromeres. HJURP Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived HJURP protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag. The total length of HJURP Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is 748 a.a., with molecular weight of ~99.5 kDa.
