IFN-alpha 2/IFNA2 蛋白, Human (P.pastoris)

IFN-alpha 2 (IFNA2), belongs to type I interferon family, is a protein secreted by cells infected by a virus and acting on other cells to inhibit viral infection^[1]. IFN-alpha 2 exerts cytotoxic activity against CD8⁺ T cells and induces CD4⁺ T cell depletion^[3]. IFN-alpha 2/IFNA2 Protein, Human (P.pastoris) contains 165 a.a., is produced in yeast strain P. pastoris with tag free.

IFN-α 2（IFNA2；IFN-α2）属于 I 型干扰素家族，由浆细胞样树突状细胞 (pDC) 接触 HIV-1BaL 后产生，以抑制病毒感染^[1]。
干扰素（IFN）最初被认为是一种在体外“干扰”病毒复制的物质。IFN-α/β及相关分子被归类为I型干扰素，其他两类分别为II型干扰素（IFN-γ）和III型干扰素（IFN-λ）^[2]。
IFN-α 2 亚型是目前唯一被许可用于治疗乙型肝炎病毒 (HBV) 和 HCV 引起的感染的亚型^[3]。

IFNA2a (hydrodynamic injection with plasmids) leads to upregulation of interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) and results HIV-1 induced CD4+ T cell depletion in the hu-PBL humanized mouse model^[3].

Measured in antiviral assays using WISH human amnion cells infected with vesicular stomatitis virus(VSV) and the EC₅₀ is typically 0.6-4.2 pg/mL.
