IL-4R alpha is a subunit alpha shared by IL-4 and IL-13 receptors, found in leukocytes originally. IL-4R alpha couples to the JAK1/2/3-STAT6 pathway and involves in promoting Th2 differentiation[1]. IL-4R alpha/CD124, Cynomolgus consists of 825 amino acids (M1-S825). IL-4R alpha/CD124 Protein, Cynomolgus (M1-R232) is produced in HEK293 cells, including a Fibronectin typr III domain (125-224 a.a) and a C-Terminal His-tag.

IL-4R α蛋白中的氨基酸在不同动物之间有很大差异。
IL-4 R α通过交替剪接或蛋白水解产生可溶形式,保持配体结合特性并抑制IL-4生物活性。IL-4 R α 可溶性亚型 1 可以通过金属蛋白酶在细胞表面进行蛋白水解裂解(脱落)来产生[4]
IL-4 R α 在 Th2 中发挥重要作用- 免疫反应偏向、巨噬细胞活化、粘膜免疫、过敏性炎症、肿瘤进展和动脉粥样硬化[5]

Interleukin-4Rα (IL-4Rα) shows promotion of Th2 cytokine and IgE response without hIL-4, and fails to expel N. brasiliensis worms in transgenic mice (hIL-4RαTg/mIL-4Rα-/-) infected with Nippostrongylus brasiliensis[8].

IL-4Rα is regulated by variant IL-4 (VIL-4), produced by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and bacillus Calmette-Guérin infections of macaques, and induces expansion of Vgamma2Vdelta2 T cells[6]
