LIMS1, an adapter protein, crucially links beta-integrins to the actin cytoskeleton and cell surface receptors. Mediating vital cellular processes, it connects with integrin-linked protein kinase 1 (ILK) through its first LIM domain, competing with LIMS2. LIMS1 contributes to the IPP complex, with ILK and LIMS1/LIMS2, vital in cellular signaling. Additionally, it binds to NCK2, linking the complex to cell surface receptors, and interacts with TGFB1I1 through the LIM zinc-binding 5 domain, expanding its molecular associations. LIMS1 Protein, Mouse (Baculovirus, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived LIMS1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells, with N-10*His labeled tag.
