MASP2 Protein, a serum protease, critically activates the complement system by auto-catalytically cleaving and subsequently cleaving C2 and C4. This process leads to the activation of C3 and the formation of C3 convertase, essential for the complement cascade. MASP2 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived MASP2 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-His labeled tag. The total length of MASP2 Protein, Human (His) is 399 a.a., with molecular weight of 18 kDa & 25-30 kDa, respectively.
