MFG-E8 Protein plays a crucial role in maintaining intestinal epithelial homeostasis, facilitating mucosal healing, and contributing to VEGF-dependent neovascularization. It acts as a specific ligand, binding to alpha-v/beta-3 and alpha-v/beta-5 receptors, and participates in the phagocytic removal of apoptotic cells. The protein is also implicated in zona pellucida binding and is a major component of aortic medial amyloid. MFG-E8 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, sf9, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived MFG-E8 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-Avi, C-His labeled tag. The total length of MFG-E8 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, sf9, His-Avi) is 387 a.a., with molecular weight of ~44.1 kDa.
