描述

Myeloperoxidase (MPO) protein, integral to polymorphonuclear leukocytes' host defense system, catalyzes the production of hypohalous acids, notably hypochlorous acid, enhancing microbicidal activity. Beyond antimicrobial functions, MPO mediates the proteolytic cleavage of alpha-1-microglobulin, yielding t-alpha-1-microglobulin. This processed form inhibits low-density lipoprotein particle oxidation, contributing to vascular damage limitation. Myeloperoxidase/MPO Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Myeloperoxidase/MPO protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-10*His labeled tag.
