S100A8 protein plays crucial roles in the immune system and inflammation. It activates NADPH-oxidase, generating reactive oxygen species in immune cells. Additionally, S100A8 facilitates the assembly of the NADPH-oxidase enzyme complex at the cell membrane and transfers the essential cofactor arachidonic acid to the complex. S100A8 Protein, Mouse (sf9, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived S100A8 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.
