Semaphorin-5A/SEMA5A Protein acts as a bifunctional axonal guidance cue, with attractive effects via heparan sulfate proteoglycans and inhibitory effects through chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans. As a ligand for PLXNB3 receptor, SEMA5A disrupts glioma cell migration and invasion, inducing cellular collapse. It may also promote angiogenesis by affecting endothelial cell proliferation and migration, while inhibiting apoptosis. SEMA5A's binding to PLXNB3 reveals its diverse roles in axon guidance, cell migration, and angiogenesis in both normal and pathological conditions. Semaphorin-5A/SEMA5A Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived Semaphorin-5A/SEMA5A protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-hFc labeled tag.
