The SR-BI/SCARB1 protein is a multifunctional receptor that binds a variety of ligands, including phospholipids, cholesteryl esters, lipoproteins, phosphatidylserine, and apoptotic cells. As an HDL receptor, it crucially mediates selective cholesterol ether uptake and HDL-dependent cholesterol efflux. SR-BI/SCARB1 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived SR-BI/SCARB1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag. The total length of SR-BI/SCARB1 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is 411 a.a., with molecular weight of ~73.4 kDa.
