SWAP70 是一种 phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate-dependent guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF)，能够独立于 RAS 将来自酪氨酸激酶受体 的信号传导至 RAC。它还介导膜皱褶信号传导，并通过作为 effector 或衔接蛋白 响应 agonist 刺激的 phosphatidylinositol (3,4)-bisphosphate 生成和细胞突起，从而调节 actin cytoskeleton (by similar)。
