Used to study Alzheimer's disease; cardiomyopathy; congenital diaphragmatic hernia; gastroschisis; and omphalocele. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Alzheimer's disease; keratosis pilaris atrophicans; myocardial infarction; and sciatic neuropathy.
