Cytochrome P450 2E1 是一种参与脂肪酸代谢的 cytochrome P450 monooxygenase (PubMed:10553002，PubMed:18577768)。其作用机制是利用分子氧，将一个氧原子插入底物，并将第二个氧原子还原为水分子，同时通过 cytochrome P450 reductase (NADPH--hemoprotein reductase) 从 NADPH 获取两个电子 (PubMed:10553002，PubMed:18577768)。它能催化碳氢键的羟基化反应，尤其擅长在饱和脂肪酸的 omega-1 位点进行羟基化 (PubMed:10553002，PubMed:18577768)。此外，它可能参与外源性物质的氧化代谢 (Probable)。by similar: 其他 cytochrome P450 家族成员也可能具有类似的底物广谱性。

  • Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from Rat liver (lane 1, 15 μg), and MCF-7 (lane 2, 15 μg) using Cytochrome P450 2E1 Rabbit mAb.Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight.The primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (GAPDH, HY-P80137, 1:60000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.
