H Cadherin 抗体 (YA1470)

H Cadherin Antibody (YA1470) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to H Cadherin.

The related gene encodes a member of the cadherin superfamily. The encoded protein is localized to the surface of the cell membrane and is anchored by a GPI moiety, rather than by a transmembrane domain. The protein lacks the cytoplasmic domain characteristic of other cadherins, and so is not thought to be a cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein. The protein acts as a negative regulator of axon growth during neural differentiation. It also protects vascular endothelial cells from apoptosis due to oxidative stress, and is associated with resistance to atherosclerosis. The related gene is hypermethylated in many types of cancer. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse heart tissue using H Cadherin Antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 8 minutes. The tissues were blocked in QuickBlock for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody at 1/100 dilution in 4℃ overnight. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
