BAS-118 is a benzamide derivative with antibacterial activity. The MIC50, MIC90 and MIC ranges of BAS-118 for 100 randomly selected isolates of Helicobacter pylori are ≤0.003, 0.013 and ≤0.003-0.025 mg/L, respectively. BAS-118 is promising for research of anti-H. pylori agent[1].
