Benzyl (5-hydroxypentyl)carbamate can also bind to DNA ligands and can inhibit cell proliferation in resistant cell lines. However, Benzyl (5-hydroxypentyl)carbamate is toxic to cells and can also cause DNA damage and strand breakage.
