Menthiafolin is an iridoid glycoside obtained from the methanol extract of Nymphoides peltata roots. Nymphoides peltata is used in traditional medicine to treat edema, and its related extracts Scopolin (HY-N0341) and Peltatamarins A have wound healing properties[1].
