TERT Antibody is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG polyclonal antibody, targeting to TERT.
研究背景

TERT 是端粒酶（telomerase）的催化亚基，该核糖核蛋白复合体在大多数真核生物中对染色体末端的复制至关重要。它在祖细胞（progenitor cells）和癌细胞中具有活性，而在正常体细胞（somatic cells）中无活性或活性极低。作为端粒酶全酶复合体（holoenzyme complex）的核心组分，TERT 通过逆转录酶（reverse transcriptase）功能，以自身 RNA 组件的模板序列为引导，在染色体末端添加 TTAGGG 重复单元，从而延长端粒（telomeres）。其催化周期包括引物结合、延伸及模板边界到达后的产物释放。TERT 对含 2-3 个端粒重复的底物活性更高，其功能受复合体关联蛋白、分子伴侣（chaperones）及翻译后修饰调控，同时参与 Wnt 信号通路调节，在衰老（aging）和抗凋亡（antiapoptosis）中起关键作用。
