Phi29 DNA Polymerase 是从 Bacillus subtilis噬菌体 Phi29 中克隆出的嗜温 DNA 聚合酶，在大肠杆菌表达后经多次纯化分离得到。Phi29 DNA Polymerase 具有特殊的链置换活性和高效的连续合成特性，对模板有很强的结合能力，可连续合成多达70kb的DNA片段而不从模板上解离。同时该酶具有很强 3′→5′ 外切酶校正功能，保真性比Taq DNA Polymerase 高 100 倍。

  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

    Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
