Anti-Monkey/Human CD40L/CD154 Antibody (5C8) (20 mg/kg，静脉注射，每两天一次，共 14 天) 可预防肾移植小鼠模型中的同种异体肾移植排斥反应[1]。
Anti-Monkey/Human CD40L/CD154 Antibody (5C8) (250 μg/mouse，腹腔注射，每周两次，持续 8 周) 可预防 CD45RBhigh CD4+ T 细胞重建的模型小鼠中实验性结肠炎的发作并减轻其严重程度[2]。

Animal Model: Renal allotransplant mice models[1]
Dosage: 20 mg/kg
Administration: Intravenously injection, every other day beginning on the day of surgery and continuing for 14 postoperative days
Result: Experienced extended rejection-free survival and rejected between 95 and 100 days posttransplant.
Returned to normal graft function when re-treated with 7 doses of 5C8 (20 mg/kg).
Animal Model: CD45RBhigh CD4+ T cell reconstitution mice models[2]
Dosage: 250 μg/mouse
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection, twice a week for 8 weeks
Result: Did not exhibit any signs of colitis, with gradual increase of body weight and absence of diarrhea and no detectable pathological changes.
Resulted in a significant reduction of splenomegaly and of the lymphocyte infiltration in the spleen, the liver and lymphoid nodes.
Showed a low frequency of CD4+ T cells, F4/801 macrophages, and CD54+ cells.
Animal Model: CD45RBhigh CD4+ T cell reconstitution mice models[2]
Dosage: 250 μg/mouse
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection, twice a weekfor from 5 to 8 week
Result: Significantly diminished granulomatous inflammation, leukocyte infiltration, and epithelial hyperplasia.
Significantly decreased histological scores in the colonic sections.
Reduced CD4+ T cells and IL-2 and IFN-γ production.
Decreased mRNA levels of cytokinesas well as CD40, CD40L and IL-4, IL-5, and IL-10.
